Terms and conditions

  • Full quote/Estimate to be accepted to qualify for discounts.

  • Due to the nature of our services, service delivery times might change.

  • Due to the nature of our services, team availability/schedules might change due to factors out of our control.

  • Should special tools/Equipment be required, additional costs will apply.

  • Additional charges will apply for any delays not caused by Maintain Industries, but due to the client.

  • It is the responsibility of the client to specify specifications where needed.

  • Please note that there might be delays or lead times on availability of some materials/Equipment.

  • Should additional works be required, please first discuss the additional works with the MI office as we are working on a schedule and we will not always be able to do additional works while our teams are on site.

  • All payments are payable within 5 days after Invoice date. Penalty fees and admin fees will be applicable if not paid on time. Incidental Credit fee will be applicable for every 30 days from date of invoice should payment not be finalised as per the payment terms. The client who requested the services to be carried out by Maintain Industries agrees that they will be personally liable and responsible for full payment to be paid to Maintain Industries.

  • Should you have an account with Maintain Industries, please adhere to payment terms. Penalty fees and admin fees will be applicable on late payments.

  • Please note that our schedules might be delayed due to load shedding, road congestion or any cause out of the control of Maintain Industries.

  • MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES WILL NOT SEND ANY SMS, WHATSAPP’S OR EMAIL'S WITH CHANGES TO OUR BANK DETAILS.

  • SHOULD ANY CLIENT WISH TO CONFIRM OUR BANKING DETAILS, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE FOR THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTATION.

  • All materials will remain the property of Maintain Industries until paid in full by the client.

  • Risks in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery of the goods.

  • It is the responsibility of the owner/client to ensure that all working areas are free of any furniture, merchandise, equipment or any objects that might be damaged while our teams are working in that area. Maintain Industries will not take any responsibility for damages due to working area not cleared before work commence.

  • Works/Services will only be scheduled on approval of this quotation/Estimate.

  • Due to the nature of our services, pricing might change due to non-standard installations/services and factors that were not visible during the site inspection, site visit or service request.

  • Labour pricing are calculated as per specified work request and a labour rate calculated at a specified duration. Should the actual duration be longer then quoted for, additional charges might apply.

  • Maintain Industries will always do their utmost best to stay within the Service hours as per quotation/Estimate.

  • All materials used by Maintain Industries are carefully selected and we do our utmost best to supply the best possible materials/parts which are normally SABS approved/Industry approved and within the client’s budget.

  • Warranties on materials/parts supplied are based on manufacturers warranty and applicable to their warranty terms.

  • All clients and their associates, colleagues, partners or representatives agrees that they will not request any services directly from any of Maintain Industries staff/employees/suppliers/contractors/partners without the consent of Maintain Industries, as this might cause additional charges or claims against the client.

  • All clients and their associates, colleagues, partners or representatives agrees that they will not offer employment to any of Maintain Industries staff/ employees /suppliers/ contractors/ partners.

JOBCARDS AND JOB ACCEPTANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. I, the client signee hereby agrees that I have requested the services from MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES, or have been duly authorised to request this service/s from MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.

  2. I hereby acknowledge and understand that it is my responsibility to verify that all service and materials supplied by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES on this job card has been inspected and checked before and after completion of services.

  3. I hereby agree that I have inspected the service supplied by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES and that I am satisfied with the services and materials delivered on this job card.

  4. I have inspected the area where MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES have completed their services and hereby agrees that no damages were done to any area/part/fittings/equipment/structure by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.

  5. I, the client signee was made aware of the following costs when requested services from MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES;

    • Call Out Fee (pricing dependent on distance travelled by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.)

    • Hourly Service fee FOR SERVICES SUPPLIED BY MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.

    • Material costs supplied by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.

  6. I, the client signee are aware that should any additional work requested by myself that was not part of the original service request will incur additional charges, and that MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES will have the right to schedule additional services to be completed at a later stage, dependant on their schedule and availability.

  7. I, the client signee hereby accept that MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES cannot be held liable for any delays on materials/parts suppliers and availability.

  8. I, the client signee do fully understand that service durations may vary due to different work areas and conditions out of the control of MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.

  9. It is the responsibility of the client signee to ensure that all materials/equipment/parts and spares are kept safe and secure as soon as it has been handed over to me/our organisation.

  10. I, the client signee hereby agrees to pay for the services and materials/equipment/parts and spares supplied by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES as indicated on the job card and calculated on MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES tariffs.

  11. I, the client signee understand and agree to pay the full amount on the invoice/s for services and materials/equipment/parts and spares supplied and completed by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES as indicated on this job card.

  12. Late payments by clients will incur the following additional costs calculated by MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES, should payments not be finalised within the payment terms time frames.

    • Penalty fee

    • Interest fee

    • Administration fee

    • Collection fee

  13. I, the client signee understands that MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES cannot be held liable for materials/parts/equipment and spares discontinued by suppliers.

  14. Should the exact materials/equipment/parts and spares not be available, MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES has the right to supply a similar product.

  15. I, the client signee hereby agrees to grant access to any of MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES staff into our premises to collect materials/parts/equipment and parts that was not fully paid by me or my organisation and that all materials/parts/equipment and parts will stay the property of MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES until paid in full.

  16. I, the client signee hereby agrees to inform MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES within 7 days of any problems due to poor workmanship or any defects. Should I not inform MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES within 7 days after the signature date on the job card, i/we will have no claim against MAINTAIN INDUSTRIES.
